‘Inducement to buy things and
other Marketing Ploys.’ Some new
factoids from ’I have a ‘Smart Panasonic Microwave Oven’ series. Or ‘Microwaves are for Cooking not Heating.’
The latest factoid: Meals on Wheels delivers about 50,000,000 meals
nationwide. But I could stand corrected on that figure.
FUNDING : Meals on Wheels is partially funded by
Community Development Block Grans . According to SNOPES this funding is
threatened by the Trump Administration.
The Factoid: No means testing (no limits on how much (money
you can have or earn). No age limit
barrier to receiving daily meals. Thanks
to the largess of the US Government.
It is possible that to the
larger reception to getting meals is that recipients don’t have to pay for the
meals as in the past or work off by volunteering. But this may be short lived as the present
administration is cutting back funding for this program and is expected to require
or suggest Volunteering services to the community.’
Something like undocumented
immigrants join the military. While
there die and become an automatic US citizen or go to college if you can afford
it. With no job prospects like the rest
of eager US teens.
This could be a satire as I
am not sure of any of my facts but the challenge is for you, the reader to
correct my errors.
