CEASE AND DESIST
I am an 85-year-old grandmother with two grandsons. We all shop for our groceries and other items
at our local Safeway stores. We love
Safeway for its convenient locations in most San Francisco neighborhoods. They are a cornucopia from pharmacy, deli, dairy
products, fresh fruits and vegetables. toiletries, florist and even clothing.
Flawed Promotion
-Safeway has one flaw in their ad promotion.
They urge some customers, mostly the elderly and disabled to play their
silly monopoly game. It is an insult to
the elders and disabled that are targeted.
Like who else has the time and patience?
Of course, they are off the mark as the elderly and disabled have better
things to do with their time. These
people do charity work, do shopping (Safeway) have family duties, etc.
Known Activist -I
am known for my activism and am willing to have customers outside Safeway
stores sign a petition. The petition would urge customers to have Safeway
eliminate these useless monopoly games. I have large signs at the ready and plenty of
liberal-minded elders to take part.
